The performer borrows a pen or pencil to write something (an IOU or sign a check). In an instant the pen or pencil has vanished. The apparatus supplied is a classic pull, and is comprised of a flesh colored tube, attached to a length of elastic with a safety pin at the end. This model has a special tapered lining which will grip any size pen or pencil when introduced to this.
