Three different colored wooden plaques, each with a large hole in its center, are handed to a spectator, who is asked to sandwich any one color between the other two. Magician now threads a stain ribbon through the center hole of the three plaques and places a rubber band around them. The plaques are left dangling from the ribbon, and with a small tug by the magician, the chosen color jumps free!
