Performer displays a playing card and borrows a matchstick from a spectator. The matchstick is placed across the card and a spectator is asked to concentrate on it. Uncannily, the matchstick rises and floats about an inch over the playing card. Another card is passed under the matchstick to prove that there is no support from beneath. Finally, the matchstick floats down and rests upon the cards again. Great close-up magic.
