Guy Hollingworth created an absolute sensation when his incredible torn and restored card routine, The Reformation, was show on national TV. The routine was available only from Guy and in a very limited edition. In fact, by the time the TV show aired, the effect was off the market completely. In addition, The Reformation is extremely difficult to perform.
Prior to Guy's routine, David Regal had published a one-piece-at-a-time full card restoration in his book, Star Quality.
California magician, John Lovick, has combined the best ideas from both routines into The Reparation. What he has created, is a routine that looks as good as The Reformation but is much easier to perform. As a point of interest, both Guy and David have seen The Reparation and give it their full approval!
The effect could not be more straightforward. A card is selected from the deck. The spectator signs the card. The signed card is torn into four pieces. Then, one piece at a time, the signed card is restored! The restored card is left with the spectator as a souvenir. It is a fantastic routine.
The Reparation is a reputation-maker. It is not self-working, but is well worth the effort to learn!
