The ghost box is a utility card case. It has been constructed from two card cases. The outer case has a precision hole cut in it around the circle of the UPPER ANGEL. A playing card or business card can be loaded into the hidden compartment from the BOTTOM short edge of the box. This allows the box to be shown empty, yet a card is hidden in the secret compartment. You will soon realize that many different magic effects, add-on's, switches, card rises etc. can all be performed with this one card case.
EASY RISING CARD: For this effect you will need a duplicate Bicycle card which is placed into the secret compartment on the case. You place a matching card from your deck on top of the deck and you are ready. You remove the deck of cards from the case and shuffle. You must now force a card and have it returned to the deck. You now ask the spectator to shuffle the cards. The force card can finish anywhere, as no control is necessary. You take back the deck and put them back into the box. You now close the box flap. You hold the box upright and you now shake the box slowly from side to side. The lid will slowly open and the selected card will rise from the deck. You remove the card from the compartment, flash the card box on both sides, remove the cards from the case and go into your next card trick.
