A sealed prediction envelope is given to a spectator for safekeeping. A deck of cards is displayed; it is obviously a regulation Bicycle deck that has just been removed from its Bicycle box. A spectator cuts the deck. The prediction envelope is torn open to reveal... the JOKER. The spectator's cut-to card is disclosed... it is the five of clubs. "Jokers wild," the magician offers sheepishly.
The Cardician explains that this was not a prediction of the face of the card. It was a prediction about its back! The cut-to card is turned over to reveal a Crystal Ball back! The prediction card is turned over to reveal the same Crystal Ball Back! That could be a strange coincidence, explains the performer. But the part that blows my mind is this The conjurer turns the pack of cards face down, spreading them across the table in a wide ribbon spread to reveal a crazy wild deck with completely different backs!
