Number Mystery Outdone

The spectator mentally thinks of any number from 1 to 100. Mgician hands him a group of seven cards and asks him to return each card on which his number appears. You never fail in magically discovering the selected number. The trick is based on a mathematical principle and will work for any number between 1 and 100. Extremely easy to do.
