The performer displays two "ribbon spreads" of cards, printed on two pieces of board. A spectator freely selects any card in either spread. The selected card magically travels from one spread to the other. This uses the principle of a popular optical illusion as a magic effect instead of a puzzle. It will amaze most spectators, and even magicians familiar with the original puzzle.
