The performer writes a prediction on a piece of paper. A card is chosen by a spectator. A spectator cuts through any one of seven lines printed on a small length of narrowfolder. When the folder is opened and the papers removed from therein, it is found that the card the spectator cut through matches the prediction made by the performer and/or matches the spectators chosen card.
