Do As I Do String Trick

Effect:

Performer shows four pieces of string which he counts slowly showing four different tops and bottoms.  Two pieces are given to a spectator who is requested to "do as I do".

Performer then places his other hand over the strings, makes a fist into which he places his strings, but leaves one string protruding.  He then starts slowly pulling on the protruding string when to the amazement of all he has pulled out ONE long string.

In other words, his two strings have become magically transformed into ONE.  The spectator, who followed the performer's moves, of course still has TWO strings.

Easy to do.  Recommended for ages 7 and up.
