A spectator places an identification mark on a coin (penny, nickel, dime or quarter), then drops it into the Devil Coin Box, which is a precision built round box with a slot in the top. The performer shakes the box and the coin is heard to rattle. The spectator is asked to hold the box to make sure the coin doesn't "get away." The performer now reaches into his pocket and brings out a small wooden box which is tied with rubber bands. This box contains still another box also tied with rubber bands. Opening this box, it contains a small cloth bag tied at the neck with a rubber band. Inside the bag is the marked coin. Very easy to do.
