Hybrid Prediction

{SKILL LEVEL ONE - See "Skill Levels" at left}

A poker-size Bicycle card is placed face-down in full view of the audience as a prediction.  Then four jumbo cards are shown to have been cut into quarters producing sixteen card pieces. These sixteen card pieces are placed on the table in four rows of four pieces each, some face up, some face down.

A spectator chooses the order in which all the pieces are combined into one pile.  The card pieces are then separated inace-up and face-down piles and it is discovered that only four pieces remain face-down.  These pieces are assembled into one jumbo face-down card to show they match the back of the prediction perfecty (chuckle).

The prediction card is shown (let's assume it is a Queen of Diamonds) and three of the four pieces are turned face-up to show they are each pieces of a Queen of Diamonds but when the fourth piece is turned face-up it is not a match to the prediction card (let's assume it is a Two of Spaces).  Obviously, the spectator made a mistake when they chose the order of combining the card pieces!

But again, the prediction card is shown and now it is three quarters of a Queen of Diamonds and one quarter matches the fourth card piece (the Two of Spades).

It's a Hybrid Card!
