The spectator is handed a small bag containing a small brass tube with a screw on top. Along with the tube, are five brass rods, each with a different set of rings scribed into one end. He is asked to secretly select a rod while the magician has his back turned. When he has selected his rod, he is then asked to place in into the tube and then place the other rods back in the bag, so the magician will have no clue of the location of any of the rods. When the magician turns around, he is able to announce the selected rod within the sealed tube!
This is a wonderful effect that is very well made. The rods and tube are all machine made high quality brass. Also included is a suede bag to hold and carry the props. Nothing in this effect is added or taken away. No questions asked, no magnets, peeks, or noises to interpret. Not a weight method and no sliding gimmick. The effect is self-contained. Also at the end all props are fully examinable. A high quality trick that leaves you clean at the end and ready to immediately repeat.
